In this 3-day instructor-led, vendor-neutral course participants are provided an solid understanding of the tools an IT engineer needs to review vulnerabilities of an Information System. Students learn the importance of vulnerability assessments and how they are used to prevent serious cyber break-ins. Lessons include understanding malware and viruses and how they can infiltrate an organization’s network. After taking this course participants will be able to assess a company’s security posture and perform a basic vulnerability test as well as able to generate reports to guide new security implementation. Note: Upon completion, the candidate will be able to competently take the C)VA exam. This exam is taken online through Mile2's Assessment and Certification System (MACS), which is accessible through your Mile2 account.
