Learn to deploy MPLS and MPLS VPN infrastructures. This 5-day instructor-led course is designed to introduce participants to MPLS concepts, installation, migration, operation, inspection and troubleshooting. Students start with an overview of MPLS and its operation, concentrating on MPLS Virtual Private Network (VPN) deployment. The MPLS fundamentals covered in this class will provide the theory and hands-on knowledge to implement, integrate and deploy an MPLS infrastructure. The MPLS VPN lecture and labs will cover the models, diversity, implementation, troubleshooting, and flexibility of MPLS VPNs. MPLS integrates the performance and traffic-management capabilities of data link Layer 2 with the scalability and flexibility of network Layer 3 routing. When used in conjunction with other standard technologies, MPLS allows service providers the ability to support value-added features that are critical for their networks. The focus of this course is on MPLS technology issues as those issues apply to how to configure new features and functions in an existing routed environment.
